The planned evacuation of stranded Nigerians from the United Kingdom due to the #COVID-19 pandemic has now been rescheduled July 14.
This is contained in a statement signed Nigerian High Commission in London and made available on twitter by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Oyeama.
The flight was earlier scheduled to depart London on July 13, but due to landing clearance issues, it had to be put a day forward.
According to the statement, there is now a change of departure airport, as Air Peace Airlines has contracted its Air partner to operate the flight on its behalf.
The Nigerian High Commission is, however, regretting the inconveniences the change would cause evacuees.
