The Nigerian government has announced the extension of phase two of the eased lockdown for another four weeks ending on July 27.
Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on #Covid19, Boss Mustapha disclosed this on Monday during the briefing of the PTF, having earlier briefed President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja on the development.
Among the new developments in the phase is that exit level students in primary and secondary schools will resume to get ready for their examinations, but all schools and daycare centres across the nation remain closed.
Also allowed within this extended phase 2 period is “movement across state borders only outside borders only outside curfew hours with effect from 1st July 2020.”
Domestic flights can resume operations across the nation. “Safe reopening of aviation services as soon as practicable” PTF chairman added.
