FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GOES BACK ON INITIAL WASSC EXAMINATION DATE

WAEC

The Federal Government of Nigeria says exit year secondary school students in the country will not be allowed to participate in the forthcoming West African Examination Council, WAEC examinations.

Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, made this known on Wednesday after the virtual Federal Executive Council meeting adding that school resumption does not have a date yet.

The minister says WAEC cannot operate independently, and it would be preferable for Nigerian students to lose one academic year than to expose them to dangers.
