A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT in Jabi, Abuja has struck out a suit filed against the immediate past Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Adams Oshiomhole and three others.
Comrade Mustapha Salihu and five others filed the suit, for which the court granted an interim order on March 4, suspending Oshiomhole from acting as the National Chairman of the APC.
Recall that the Court of Appeal, in Abuja had on June 16, 2020, upheld Oshiomhole’s suspension.
On Thursday Plaintiff’s lawyer, Oluwola Afolabi, however, moved a motion to withdraw the case when parties were to return to the High Court of the FCT for determination of the substantive suit.
He explained that the action was in line with the APC leadership’s directive that all court cases be discontinued in the interest of peace.
