BELLO LIFTS LOCKDOWN IN KABBA-BUNU, INSISTS KOGI IS COVID-19 FREE

KABBA-BUNU,

The government of Kogi State, northcentral Nigeria, has lifted the lockdown imposed on Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of the state over suspected cases of coronavirus COVID-19.

Announcing that on Friday, Governor Yahaya Bello said the decision became necessary after the result of all the samples tested by the health workers in the local government came out negative.

Bello maintained that Kogi state has remained a COVID-19-free state, but urged residents to observe the protocols to contain the disease.
