Tiger Woods has made his intent to win Professional Golfers’ Association of America, PGA Tour.
The media had its first chance to talk to Woods in five months and he said he is going to win the event.
The American professional golfer says it feels great to be back, adding that there was no stress at all on Tuesday, the hard stuff starts Thursday.
A victory would mean beating every single player in a field that is star-studded, despite that, Woods said his intent for coming into every event is to win and there’s no reason he can’t do it again this week.
Nine of the top 10 players in the world are around, including Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson, and Tiger’s playing partners for the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka.
If Woods eventually wins, it would mean his sixth Memorial victory and his 83rd PGA Tour title, which would see him break a tie with Sam Snead and become the all-time winningest player in the Tour history. AND THAT’S
