President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed former Super Eagles striker and Nigerian Football Ambassador, Daniel Amokachi as his Special Assistant on Sports.
This was confirmed in a post on twitter by a Personal Assistant on New Media to the President, Bashir Ahmad.
The Former Everton of England player was presented the appointment by the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare.
Omokachi who was earlier in the year named Nigeria’s Football Ambassador won the AFCON, Olympic Gold and played in two World Cups.
The appointment takes effect from the 11th of August, 2020,” the letter given to Daniel Amokachi.
