BELIEVE IN HOME BASED PLAYERS, ONE OF KESHI’S GREATEST LEGACIES SAYS SHORUNMU

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ike Shorunmu has described late Stephen Keshi as one of the greatest Coach Nigeria has ever produced, giving his love and patriotism in serving his fatherland.

Shorunmu who was a backroom staff of the late BIG BOSS to the 2013 Afcon winning team said Keshi’s biggest legacy while serving the national team was having an unparalleled belief and confidence in the abilities of the homegrown talents and giving them the chance to blossom in their careers.

Boss FM Correspondent reports that it’s been four years since the demise of Stephen Keshi. He won the Africa cup of nations twice for Nigeria, first as a player in 1994 in Tunisia and also as a coach in 2013 in South Africa.
