NIGERIA’S #COVID19 CASES RISE ABOVE 10,000

Nigeria has recorded 416 new cases of #COVID19 in 20 states, bringing the total to 10578.

#COVID-19 cases have been recorded in 35 states of the country plus the FCT, with Cross River being the only state without any case.

3122 patients have fully recovered and discharged, while 299 deaths have been recorded, and so, the number of active cases is 7157.

According to the information released at 11.52 pm, JUNE 1, 2020 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, 192 of the new cases are in Lagos; 41 in Edo; 33- River; 30- Kaduna; 23- Kwara; 18- Nasarawa;  17 – Borno; 14 –FCT; 10-Oyo; 7-Katsina.

There are 5 cases each in Abia and Delta; 4 each in Adamawa and Kano; Imo, and Ondo each have 3 cases; while Benue,

Bauchi and Ogun each have 2 cases, 1 in Niger State.
