NIGERIA COVID19 CASES RISE ABOVE 16,000 WITH 403 NEW CASES

Nigeria has recorded 403 new cases of #COVID19 in 20 states, bringing the total to 16,085.

#COVID-19 cases have been recorded in 35 states of the country plus the FCT, with Cross River being the only state without any case.

5,220 patients have fully recovered and discharged, while 420 deaths have been recorded, and so, the number of active cases is 10,445.

According to the information released at 11.43pm, June 14, 2020 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, 73 of the cases are in Gombe; 68 in Lagos; Kano- 46; Edo-36; FCT-35; Nasarawa-31; Kaduna-17; Oyo-16; Abia-15.

Meanwhile, there are 13 cases each in Delta and Borno; Plateau-8; Niger and Rivers each have 7; Enugu and Ogun 6 each; Kebbi-3; Ondo, Anambra, and Imo each have 1case.
