CHILDREN’S AUTHOR ROSEN RETURNS HOME AFTER CORONAVIRUS

The former Children’s Laureate, Michael Rosen has returned home after spending 47 days in intensive care as he tested positive for COVID19.

The poet and author expressed gratitude to NHS staff and all who showed him care and made “huge efforts” to keep him alive.

Rosen, who is now at home with wife Emma-Louise Williams, was admitted to hospital in London in March.

Rosen, who turned 74 last month, was Children’s Laureate from 2007 to 2009, and some of his works for children include We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, and Tiny Little Fly.
