THE UNITY COLLEGES IN NIGERIA ARE REOPENING TODAY FOR EXIT CLASSES

Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajuba had on Monday announced the preparedness of the colleges at an online meeting with commissioners of education of the 36 state of the federation.

Across states, commissioners reported varying degrees of preparation and readiness for reopening between the 4th and 10th of August, 2020 for almost all schools within their jurisdiction.

Nwajiuba applauded principals of unity colleges for the comprehensive preparation put in place for resumption. 

A statement from the Ministry disclosed that the Minister of State for Education, Permanent Secretary and Directors are on an assessment tour of all unity colleges to ascertain and confirm the reports they received from the principals of the colleges.
