ZIMBABWE EMBARKS ON 21-DAY LOCKDOWN OVER COVID-19

Zimbabweans braced for a three-week lock-down to curb the spread of the coronavirus which has killed one person and infected six others.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa declared a 21-day “total” lockdown from Monday that will curtail movement within the country

He said as a measure to contain the spread of the virus, most shops and banks are shut, flights in and out of Zimbabwe are therefore suspended.
